In Warsaw the interviews were done by (from left to right) Anna BÃŒchner, Bogna Kietlinska and Joanna (Asia) Koscianska.

Anna and Bogna both teach and do research at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences of the University of Warsaw. Anna specialized in the “anthropology of the contemporary” during her studies and went on to do a PhD on Catholic sanctuaries within the Polish religious landscape. Bogna attained master degrees in the History of Art and in Social Sciences. She used both these specializations during her PhD research which was on the “Invisible City”, which encompassed visual sociology and multisensory ethnography.

Joanna attained an MA degree at the Institute of Ethnography and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Warsaw and then completed postgraduate courses in Gender Studies at the same university.
